American Airlines resumes passenger flights to Schiphol

American Airlines started this weekend with passenger flights to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. American Airlines will operate a daily direct flight between Dallas / Fort Worth and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. A Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner will be used for the flights. The first flight was operated last Saturday.

Summer season

The passenger flights between Dallas and Amsterdam will only take place in the summer. This is exactly the same schedule as in previous years. The route is popular during the summer months and is very profitable for American Airlines. The passenger flights between Philadelphia and Schiphol are suspended at the beginning of March. These will be resumed in September or October. Cargo flights from American Airlines to Schiphol will continue twice a week. These will be operated with a Boeing 777-300ER.
