This week, TUI has started operating regular flights with the Boeing 737 MAX. TUI flew a charter from Schiphol to Cardiff. Icelandair flew the Boeing 737 MAX from Reykjavik to Schiphol. It is the first time that the Boeing 737 MAX is in use on a regular flight. TUI brought the Mexican football team from Schiphol to Cardiff for a friendly match. TUI flew with the PH-TFP.

Holiday flights

It is the intention that TUI will fly holiday flights with the Boeing 737 MAX. But when TUI will be able to do this is uncertain. It depends on when the Dutch will be able to go on holiday again. TUI has recently done some test flights from Schiphol with the Boeing 737 MAX. These flights went very well.

Icelandair flew the Boeing 737 MAX with registration code TF-ICN between Reykjavik and Schiphol on Monday. Normally Icelandair uses the Boeing 767-300ER, but also plans to use the Boeing 737 MAX regularly again.
