Etihad Airways starts scheduled service between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv
Etihad Airways will start a scheduled service between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv next year. The flight will be operated daily from Abu Dhabi to Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv. These flights are made possible by the recently signed Abraham agreement. This agreement has normalised the diplomatic link between the two countries. It allows air traffic between the two countries.
Flights will start in March 2021
With the start of the new summer season, Etihad will start flights between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv in March 2021. Earlier, FlyDubai and Israir had already announced flights between the two countries. FlyDubai’s flights will start as early as 26 November. With the addition of Tel Aviv, Etihad is also targeting passengers between Israel, the Far East and Australia.
