Wizz Air starts flights from Brussels Airport
Wizz Air started this week with flights from Brussels Airport. Since the beginning of this week, Wizz Air has been operating 5 flights a week between Brussels and Budapest. Before the corona crisis, Wizz Air already operated flights between Brussels and Budapest from Charleroi Airport, but these flights from Brussels Airport are additional flights. Currently, only Brussels Airlines and Wizz Air fly between Brussels and Budapest. From June onwards, Wizz Air will fly 6 times a week and in September this will be extended to a daily flight. Wizz Air uses the Airbus A320 NEO. This aircraft seats 180 passengers.
Charleroi Airport
Charleroi Airport will reopen on 15 June. The airport has been closed for 3 months. Wizz Air will resume flights from Charleroi. From Charleroi Airport, Wizz Air will fly to 15 destinations, including Budapest, Tirana and Vienna. Air traffic will increase again this month.
