Conversion of terminal 3 on LAX completed earlier

Terminal 3 at LAX Airport was completed much earlier than expected. Due to the crisis, there are fewer passengers at the airport, which means that the conversion work went well. Initially, it was intended that Terminal 3 would be ready by the end of 2024. This is now expected to be mid 2023.

Delta Air Lines

Terminal 3 at LAX Airport is mainly used by Delta Air Lines. The terminal is now completely closed due to the refurbishment. In total, the renovation will cost around 1.85 billion dollars. Terminal 3 will be connected to Terminal 2 and will have 27 extra gates. As a result, transfer time will be reduced by 20 minutes, enabling better connections to other flights.

Delta Sky Club

Delta is going to build its largest Sky Club ever in Terminal 3. The Sky Club will be equipped with every luxury and will include luxury shower facilities and a large outdoor terrace. The terminal is also connected to the Los Angeles metro system.
