Starlux Airlines ordered 8 Airbus A330 NEO aircraft
Starlux Airlines from Taiwan has ordered 8 Airbus A330 NEO aircraft to enter into service at the end of next year. This order is in cooperation with leasing company ALC. Earlier Starlux Airlines already ordered a number of Airbus A350 aircraft. This order is an addition to this order.
Chang Kuo-wei
Starlux Airlines is growing rapidly under the leadership of Chang Kuo-wei. He comes from a well-known family at the head of the large Evergreen Group conglomerate. Previously, he was already a top member of EVA Air, but due to a family quarrel, he left here and founded his own airline.
Competition
Starlux Airlines wants to compete with EVA Air and China Airlines by offering a luxury product. Starlux wants to offer luxury air travel at affordable prices. Starlux already flies the Airbus A321 NEO within Asia. Within 1.5 years Starlux also wants to offer intercontinental flights.
