KLM starts passenger flights to China
Next week KLM will start offering passenger flights to China. The Chinese government has given KLM permission to restart flights to China. This is reported by the French embassy in Beijing. Since the beginning of the corona crisis, KLM has only been operating cargo flights to China. Next week, KLM will start passenger flights again.
Flights to Shanghai
Initially it will be 1 flight per week to Shanghai. Air France has approval for two flights a week between Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and Shanghai. Air France has already started offering passenger flights to China in mid-June.
Negative travel advice
The travel advice to China is negative. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against unnecessary travel. Nevertheless, more and more flight tickets to China are being sold and flights to China are starting up again.
