GOL Airlines takes off flights with Boeing 737 MAX

The Brazilian airline GOL took to the air again today with the Boeing 737 MAX. GOL Airlines is the first airline that will fly again with the Boeing 737 MAX since the no-fly zone. The aircraft will be used on flights to and from Sao Paulo. GOL Airlines wants to have all 7 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft back in service by the end of December.

American Airlines

After GOL Airlines, American Airlines will be the first US airline to put the Boeing 737 MAX back into service. This is likely to be the end of December. American Airlines’ Boeing 737 MAX will be used on flights between Miami and New York. In Europe, the Boeing 737 MAX will probably be allowed to fly again in January 2021. It is awaiting approval from the aviation authority, EASA.
