Ethiopian Airlines takes delivery of 2 Airbus A350 aircraft
This weekend Ethiopian Airlines received 2 new Airbus A350-900 (see photo). The widebody aircraft were presented to Ethiopian Airlines in Toulouse. In Toulouse is the head office of Airbus. During the first flights of the new Airbus A350 many humanitarian goods were loaded on board.
Medical equipment
Ethiopian Airlines carries 5 tonnes of medical equipment to Ethiopia. This is in cooperation with the Airbus Foundation. The aid goods are mainly intended for a children’s hospital in Ethiopia. The Airbus A350 fleet of Ethiopian Airlines now consists of 16 Airbus A350 aircraft. There are still 6 Airbus A350-900 aircraft on order.
