Boeing has a large stock of Boeing 787 planes

Due to overproduction, Boeing currently has a large number of Boeing 787 aircraft parked around its factories. The airlines that have placed an order for this type of aircraft do not want to receive the aircraft at this time.

Losses of the Boeing 737 MAX

The reason that Boeing produced the Boeing 787 on a large scale is to compensate the losses of the Boeing 737 MAX. At this moment every month 15 Boeing 787 Dreamliners are being prepared. This is a record for a widebody aircraft.

Storage

Due to the crisis, airlines do not want to take delivery of the ordered aircraft at this time. As a result, Boeing has to keep the aircraft in storage. The Boeing 787 Dreamliners will be parked anywhere. There are even Dreamliners on an old runway, in the parking lot for employees and there are already Dreamliners stored in the desert near Victorville (California).
