AirBaltic sells 500% more airline tickets last week
Last week AirBaltic sold 500% more flight tickets than in the first week of May. This is a total of 13,000 reservations. It seems that air traffic is slowly picking up again. Martin Gauss (CEO of AirBaltic) is positive but indicates that this is only a small percentage of the bookings before the corona crisis. In the past two months there have hardly been any bookings. With the announcement of airlines starting to fly, people are booking airline tickets again.
Routes
In the first week that AirBaltic flew again, 4,300 passengers were transported. Especially on the routes from Riga to Frankfurt and Oslo and on the route from Tallinn to Amsterdam flight tickets were booked. AirBaltic plans to slowly expand the number of destinations again.
