Ryanair opens base at Treviso Airport

Ryanair will open a new base at Treviso Airport in Italy in March 2021. Ryanair plans to station two Boeing 737-800 aircraft at Treviso Airport. These will initially be used primarily for domestic flights. With the opening of the base at Treviso Airport, Ryanair now has 15 bases in Italy.

Employment

With the opening of the base at Treviso Airport, a large number of runways will be created. This is good for the local economy and employment. Other airlines using the airport are Wizz Air and Albawings. The airport is located 20 km from Venice. Treviso Airport will be connected to 6 domestic destinations and 39 international destinations next year. The new destinations are: Alghero, Alicante, Frankfurt Hahn, Paphos, Pescara, Riga, Tel Aviv, Thessaloniki and Trapani.
