Since last week Korean Air flies again with the Airbus A380 on scheduled flights. The Airbus A380 is now used weekly on flights between Seoul and Guangzhou. Due to strict Chinese restrictions Korean Air is only allowed to operate a limited number of flights to mainland China. Due to the large capacity of the Airbus A380 Korean Air decided to use this aircraft again. In the previous months, the Boeing 777-300(ER) was used on the flight between Seoul and Guangzhou.

The Airbus A380 is being put back into service more and more often. In addition to Korean Air, Emirates and China Southern Airlines also use the Airbus A380. China Southern Airlines has never stopped using the Airbus A380. Asiana Airlines currently only uses the Airbus A380 for sightseeing flights.
