Turkish Airlines net profit of €625 million in 2nd quarter

Turkish Airlines has done very well in the 2nd quarter of this year. The Turkish national airline posted a net profit of $625 million. Passenger numbers and revenue increased significantly compared to the same period last year. In total, Turkish Airlines carried 21 million passengers last quarter. This includes passengers from subsidiary AnadoluJet. Revenue increased by 13.5 per cent compared to the same period last year. Revenue reached $5.1 billion.

Turkish Airlines fleet

Turkish Airlines’ fleet currently consists of 419 aircraft. This is 42 aircraft more than in the same period last year. From this, we can conclude that Turkish Airlines is growing fast. The airline is innovative and engaged in sustainable business. Turkish Airlines plans to order over 100 more new aircraft in the coming years.
