Boeing 737 MAX possible in the air again this month

The Boeing 737 MAX may be allowed to take to the air this month to operate commercial flights. The US Air Service is about to re-approve the Boeing 737 MAX. The type of Boeing aircraft has been on the ground for almost 2 years now after two fatal accidents.

Final tests are being completed

According to Reuters, the FAA is in the process of completing the final tests. This could mean that the Boeing 737 MAX can be approved this month. It is up to Boeing to prepare the software and the pilots for the new procedures.

American Airlines

American Airlines has already indicated its intention to fly the Boeing 737 MAX again in December. Southwest Airlines also wants to restart flights with this type of aircraft. TUIfly expects to be able to fly again with the Boeing 737 MAX in 2021. Due to the crisis there is less need for new aircraft. For example, Air Canada cancelled part of its order for the Boeing 737 MAX last week.
