AirBaltic and IcelandAir initiate codeshare agreement

AirBaltic and IcelandAir initiate a codeshare agreement. This gives AirBaltic customers access to Iceland and North America. IcelandAir customers will have access to the Baltic States and Eastern Europe. The codeshare agreement allows customers of both airlines to reserve and purchase airline tickets from each other.

AirBaltic is very pleased with the cooperation and brings a strong partner to IcelandAir. This makes the network of both airlines bigger and stronger. Because of the cooperation, passengers get more possibilities and better flight ticket prices.

New destinations

In addition to the codeshare agreement, AirBaltic also announces new destinations. Flights from Riga International Airport will include Billund, Reykjavik, Madrid, Zurich, Turku, Warsaw, Prague, Stuttgart, Budapest and Liepaja. IcelandAir hopes to sell more airline tickets with the cooperation and hopes to interest AirBaltic passengers in a stopover in Iceland.
