Air France checks passengers for temperature

Air France is going to check passengers on temperature before they are allowed on board. The measure will be introduced from 11 May and will apply to all Air France flights. A passenger with a temperature above 38 degrees Celsius will not be allowed on board. This will be carried out using non-contact infrared thermometers. Passengers whose temperature is too high can rebook their flight free of charge.

Face masks mandatory

From 11 May, Air France, like KLM, will make it compulsory to wear face masks as soon as passengers board the aircraft. This measure applies to all flights. Staff of Air France and KLM already wear face masks. Measures have also been taken at the airports to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. In this way, the rules regarding social distancing are well observed. Aircrafts are cleaned more often and disinfected with a special spray every 10 days. Meal service is also suspended on short flights. On long flights, only pre-packed food is distributed or sold.
