Flydubai starts flights between Dubai and Tel Aviv
Flydubai will start flights between Dubai and Tel Aviv on 26 November. This will make Flydubai the first airline with a regular scheduled service between the United Arab Emirates and Israel. Initially, Flydubai will operate 2 flights a day. The Boeing 737 MAX will be used (see photo).
Diplomatic relations
Flights between the United Arab Emirates and Israel are possible because diplomatic links have been established between the two countries. The initiative for this came from the US Government. Both economic and tourism agreements have been concluded between the two countries. As a result, more and more transport and holiday flights will be operated between the two countries.
Dubai International Airport
Flydubai will operate flights from Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport (TLV). The flights will be operated with the Boeing 737 MAX. In December Israir Airlines will also offer a scheduled service to Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
