Increasing demand for air tickets Italy and Portugal

Transavia sells more airline tickets to Italy and Portugal. These two countries are the only southern European countries with a positive travel recommendation. This makes Italy and Portugal extra popular as holiday destinations. A Transavia spokesman indicates that it is still too early to deploy extra capacity. Exact figures will not be released, but the occupancy rate on flights to Italy and Portugal is very high. A striking detail is that passengers book their flight tickets just before the trip.

Bonaire, Curaçao and Madeira

In addition to Italy and Portugal, Bonaire, Curaçao and Madeira are also very popular holiday destinations. These islands also have a positive travel advice. TUI has a similar increase in bookings. Normally Spain is a top country in terms of flights and holidays, but due to the negative travel advice this is not the case for the time being.
