Gran Canaria Airport is located on the east coast of the island, south of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the capital of the island. You can easily reach the airport by car via the GC-1. By car it takes about 25 minutes to get to the capital of the island. Besides by car there are also other ways to travel to and from Gran Canaria Airport. For example, you can take the bus to Las Palmas: line 60 runs twice an hour between Gran Canaria Airport and Las Palmas. The bus takes about 30 minutes.
